Neurodivergent Wednesday – 2020

Listen to the short recording

Telling the time

Visualising numbers is fun and now you can explore words and numbers together, angles, telling the time and even algebra. This is a great way to improve your maths and especially mental arithmetic. This will also include some advice on additional resources for visually learning mathematics.

The event consists of a short (max 15 mins) session, that is recorded, and then an unrecorded question and answer discussion. Do join in if you can and bring your questions along.

You can read more about these visualisation techniques and more case studies in the book The Elephants in The Classroom – uncovering every student’s natural power of mental imagery to enhance learning available here ,  and also from Amazon USAAmazon UKKindle.
