Talk Jan 17th: Insights into Dementia and Healthy Ageing

jan17thI should like to invite you to the next Harpenden Complementary Health event – January 17th in Redbourn Village Hall, 7:30-9:30. Flyer attached

In 2013 we have launched monthly events on the 3rd Thursday of every month.  You are invited to join us.
The January topic is “Insights into Dementia and Enabling Healthy Ageing”
This evening will be an opportunity to learn more about the ageing process from 2 invaluable and very different perspectives:
  • The factors that maintain your youth and how your thoughts can contribute to your health
  • Learn some invaluable skills for Dementia carers to improve the quality of life for themselves, in challenging circumstances, of those they care for.
Diana Kingham and Olive Hickmott will be presenting their work in these areas and there will be ample opportunities for you to bring your own questions.
There is no charge for HCH members and a nominal charge of £3 for non-members.  We have access to the kitchen and will provide refreshments during the evening.
I really hope you will like these new arrangements and you will join us.  Please advertise the events to your friends, and through social media; we are confident that there are many who would find these events most beneficial.  I have attached a flyer you can download and print.  We really would like to build the community involvement with these events.  They are for the general public and of course practitioners.
Please pass onto your friends
If you are not able to make the event and want to know more about insights into Dementia go to www.dementia.simpleskills.co.uk and sign up for more informaation
