Would you like to help your child make literacy so much easier? Having a phonics only strategy in school, disadvantages the creative, imaginative children, who have a wealth of visual thinking skills, especially when young, such as problem solving, curiosity, innovation, etc.
Schools could save money by teaching children visually in parallel with or slightly before phonics. If a child can recognise their own name, they can use the same skill to recognise and spell any word, with a bit of “how to” explanation and practice.
What would teaching children to learn visually do for your school?
- Save money by reducing the need for specialist support
- Accelerate your phonics programme
- Improve results for every child
It would save parents the need to pay for expensive Dyslexia reports, that only result in just the same teaching, but more intense and missing other lessons. Better to give students with a different strategy that matches their strengths and uses those strengths to scaffold literacy.
I can offer to teach any school through simple video training and on-line live
