School’s Out……

I had the pleasure of meeting Naomi Fisher on-line at a recent conference entitled “Freedom to Learn 2020”. Her presentation was fascinating, considering the arguments and research for self-directed education. Much of what she said is covered in this article from the Psychologist.

I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

    Hello,

Thank you for sending this – it is most interesting. My parents were considering sending me to Dartington – a school where the students decided which classes they attended – I did not go! I wonder why they even thought of it – sadly I did not go but then perhaps t was a good thing that I did not. Having stayed with my cousin in ~devon we played hockey against the school and I can remember that there was no such thing as stopping for tea n- you just helped yourself from the kettle and found receptiicle from which to drink!

I hope all is well for you. We have had a good day today waking along the dam and enjoying the sunshine.

    Best wishes

    Helena
