Brilliant Day at the Dyslexia Research Trust

On Saturday we had a great day at the Dyslexia Research Trust Fun Day.  3 Fun runs for all the family, lots of entertainments and even the weather stayed fine with a few periods of brilliant sunshine.

It was well organised and Empowering Learning met some lovely people all excited to learn new skills to help their or their children’s experience of Dyslexia and a range of other learning difficulties.  Thank you so much for all those people who came to visit us, it was a delight to meet you.  Their experiences of simple skills to improve grounding, mental imagery of words, copying down from the board, concentration etc could all be tried out in less than 10 minutes.

We are back on the road on 19th June to the Dyslexia Action Conference in Lincoln and Swindon Dyslexia Group on 20th June. It would be great to see you there.  We are always there to teach you some helpful skills.
