Recently I was inspired to be talking to a group who look after challenged youngsters in care.
The behavioural challenges are extensive and I am curious to know how many of the processes covered in Bridges to Success, would have a very positive effect on the youngsters. We were discussing the:
Grounding
Releasing stress
Validation
Acknowledging their strengths
Improving literacy and numeracy
Considering teaching capabilities can have a huge effect on behaviours, you are going to a higher level to improve the underlying challenges. As Einstein said “we cannot resolve the problems we created, by thinking at the same level we were at, when we created them.”
