Did you ever feel you craved to “fit in” as a child?

When you desperately need to fit in, the easiest way is to take on someone else’s energy and then you even start behaving like them. This helps you to fit in but means you are now acting like a friend or family member and you don’t feel like you anymore. Then you start to feel confused. Carry this on all your life and you become a sponge for picking up other people’s stuff; does this sound familiar?  All this is going on below your conscious awareness and you can feel quite panicky.  Once you learn to regularly clear your energy and protect your own energy in present time, (takes a few minutes to learn) you connect to your own true self.

You can also look upon picking up other people’s energy as an opportunity to clear yours – a present

When you add this to what you read in “Bridges to Success” about learning difficulties in families, you will see more clearly how symptoms flow through families without being genetic.

  1. Penny says:

The fitting in stays with your trying to find your path. Where are you in all of it. Society yes we have to fit in. What do want to BE when you grow up. Say something good or funny or judgement happens!! Society, media and culture press us to be in specific groups. You wear that therefore you must think like that. If you don’t fit in the group then your on your own. YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE! Or chose the wrong group and you don’t survive. Clearing this energy out of my space, recognizing that this once me surviving in my world is very healing for me. Giving permission for my true essence and inner wisdom to help the process is very powerful and nurturing. I’m asking for my true essence of what passion means to me. This I feel will give me my voice. Keeping my sense of compassion for the world and all who lives in it. We are all unique about are also part of the big picture of the world and the universe. Keep female grounding!
